Full Belly Bakery: Discover Your Wedding Cake
What’s a wedding celebration without cake?
We’re excited to welcome Full Belly Bakery for an evening of wedding cake tasting and sweet inspiration.
Founded in 2017, Full Belly Bakery was created from a passion for bringing people together through delicious, handmade desserts. After earning a diploma in Professional Pastry Arts from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, the bakery’s founder developed its signature cakes and fillings from scratch using fresh ingredients and carefully selected flavors.
For couples who aren’t fans of overly sweet cakes, Full Belly Bakery takes a different approach. Their cakes feature flavors such as lemon and berries, decadent chocolate ganache and caramel, paired with their signature not-too-sweet Italian meringue buttercream.
And there’s a meaningful story behind the bakery’s name, too. Rather than throwing away excess cake scraps from creating their beautiful cakes, Full Belly Bakery turned them into cake scrap bread pudding bites, which are donated to the East Oakland Collective to help provide food to people experiencing homelessness.
At A Taste of “I Do,” you’ll have the opportunity to sample their cakes and start thinking about one of the sweetest decisions of your wedding day.
Belle Flower: Find Your Floral Inspiration
Flowers can completely transform a wedding—from the bouquet you carry down the aisle to ceremony arrangements, centerpieces, and those little floral details that bring your entire wedding aesthetic together.
Joining us is Belle Flower, an Emeryville-based floral studio led by Natalie, a floral designer with more than 20 years of experience.
Natalie began her career in 2002 at Impressions in Orinda, learning from experienced floral designers before launching her own business. She later opened Clementine, a retail floral shop in Rockridge, before transitioning to her Emeryville studio in 2013 and creating belle-flower.
Today, Belle Flower focuses on event florals and has worked with clients and organizations throughout the Bay Area, including Pixar, Peet’s Coffee, and Clif Bar.
Natalie takes a hands-on approach to every event, personally overseeing deliveries and setups and building genuine relationships with her clients.
At our event, you can explore floral inspiration and start thinking about the colors, textures, flowers, and overall feeling you want for your wedding day.
Janene’s Bridal: Try On Your Dream Dress
And, of course, no bridal evening would be complete without the dress.
During A Taste of “I Do,” brides are welcome to casually try on wedding dresses at Janene’s Bridal. This is a relaxed opportunity to explore different silhouettes, styles, fabrics, and looks without the pressure of a traditional bridal appointment.
Not sure what style you want yet? That’s perfectly okay.
Trying on different gowns is one of the best ways to discover what you actually love—and sometimes the dress you least expect to love ends up being the one that makes you say, “This is it.”
Whether you’re newly engaged and just starting to explore, or you’re narrowing down your options, come browse, try on a few gowns, and get inspired.
No Appointment. No Pressure. Just Inspiration.
We designed this evening to feel different from a traditional wedding planning appointment.
There’s no need to have your wedding date locked in. You don’t need to know your dress style, cake flavor, or floral vision yet. And you definitely don’t need to have everything figured out.
Just walk in, grab a friend or family member, and enjoy an evening dedicated to some of the fun parts of wedding planning.
